Joshua W. Goodman

Fisher Law Group PLLC

Growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina I learned to focus my energy on finding a solution rather than worrying about the problem. This mindset inevitably led me to my profession as an attorney.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a business degree in Economics. I immediately began work in the financial field helping people navigate the world of small business loans. The following year I received the Fourth Ward Scholarship to attend Charlotte School of Law. While in law school I gained invaluable experience from my work at the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office, The Law Offices of C. Reid Beaver, and Legal Aid of North Carolina.

Upon receiving my J.D. from Charlotte School of Law, I started Fisher Law Group with my business partner Nicki B. Fisher with the goal of creating a law firm that focuses on the clients in and out of the courtroom. Fisher Law Group has now become a client-centered law firm providing caring, thoughtful legal representation to help our clients reach their goals and take control of their lives.

Through my experience navigating the litigation-based divorce process, I have seen how traumatic and harmful that path can be for clients and their families. The collaborative process provides you with the tools you need to focus on a solution that works best for you and your family in these trying times.

If you would like more information about the collaborative divorce process, feel free to contact my office at your earliest convenience.
